We chose the name Beautiful Day because we wanted to have a role in helping those in our community whose lives have been shattered to move forward one day at a time. A big part of our joy in this work comes from knowing we're not doing it alone.
We would love to count you as a partner.

Like most young non-profits, we rely heavily on volunteers and in-kind donations be effective and efficient. Our board and business advisory help guide our direction and growth. Interns have often started or guided a new initiative. Other volunteers have helped with everything from kitchen shifts and farmers' market to photography, research, data entry, blogging, and social media.
If you shop at Amazon, it's simple to designate Beautiful Day as your nonprofit of choice and they will send us a small percentage of your purchase. A lot of small things add up quickly to make a big difference in our bottom line. Click below to get started.
For granola lovers, joining our Granola Club is the easiest, most delicious way to make a difference in a refugee's life every day of the year. You can choose from several packages, designate a tax-deductible gift towards training, and receive an update on one of our trainees each time your granola arrives.
An important part of our mission is to educate our wider community about refugees and create opportunities for anyone to get to know a refugee. We do this through:
- Farmers Markets
- Speaking Engagements
- Kitchen Tours
- Corporate Events/Conferences
- Non-Profit Partnerships
Is your group (school, faith community, office, social club) looking for a meaningful way to get involved in refugee job training? We've designed a simple Fundraiser Kit for this purpose. The kit is a way to buy Beautiful Day products at cost and re-sell them at retail as a way to support our job training programs while introducing your community to refugee resettlement. And everyone gets to enjoy the granola.
I have consistently bought subscriptions or individual bags as gifts for friends and family--and in the process, won over some "granola" skeptics. I wholeheartedly support PGP's mission, and I can't get enough of the granola. Totally worth every cent.
